Terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you use Wattle PDF. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
The service
Wattle PDF gives you tools to work with PDF and other documents. Free use has the limits shown on the pricing page; Pro raises them. We may add, change or retire tools, and we'll give Pro subscribers notice of any change that takes away something they pay for.
Your files stay yours
You keep all rights to the files you use with Wattle PDF. You give us permission to process them only to do what you ask, and we delete server copies as our privacy page describes. You're responsible for having the right to use the files you process.
Fair and lawful use
- Don't use Wattle PDF for anything illegal, including content that infringes someone else's rights or exploits anyone.
- Don't upload malware, try to break or overload the service, or get around its limits.
- Don't access it with scripts or bots, except through an API we offer for that purpose.
- Don't use HTML to PDF to reach systems you aren't allowed to access.
We may suspend use that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk.
Pro subscriptions
- Pro is billed monthly or yearly in Australian dollars, including GST, and renews until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from your account. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.
- “Unlimited” server tasks are subject to fair use, currently 500 a day, so the service stays fast for everyone.
- If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Electronic signatures
Sign PDF places your signature image on a document. Whether an electronic signature is valid for a particular purpose depends on the law that applies to it. Wattle PDF doesn't give legal advice; check if you're unsure.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep Wattle PDF accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be error-free. Keep your own copies of important documents. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we aren't liable for indirect loss.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. If we update them, we'll change the date above and, for changes that matter, email account holders first. Questions: [email protected].
